CEO says AvtoVAZ can produce 120,000 cars in July–December

YEKATERINBURG, Jul 5 (PRIME) -- AvtoVAZ plans to produce 100,000–120,000 cars in July–December, CEO Maxim Sokolov said at the Innoprom trade fair on Tuesday.

"Speaking about the second half of the year, we can produce at least 100,000 cars depending on the Largus output. I am referring to Lada Niva Legend and Niva Travel, and, correspondingly, Lada Granta. Adding Largus, we can raise the figure to 120,000," Sokolov said.

He added that production must meet market demand, and no car should be stored in the warehouses.
